Fiber to the Premises project moves Marshall forward
Marshall moves toward ultra high speed internet with FiberNet after a March 20 public hearing. The City Council approved six resolutions including a 2.5 million loan funded by the Local Finance Development Authority and city electric funds to launch a rateed service with two tiers, while Aspen Wireless will manage the network. The service targets residential and business customers, remains city limited for now, and will be funded by customer payments with eventual expansion considered.
