MPS board extends superintendent contract to 2021
Marshall Public Schools retained Randy Davis at Highly Effective after annual evaluation on March 13 and approved a one year extension through June 30 2021. Changes to compensation to be considered later. Davis outlined goals and district marketing plans while recounting Albion annexation discussions and district cohesion efforts to improve Pre K to career pathways. A new Pre K 16 advisory panel will meet regularly as bids for six milk coolers were approved and Marshall High School students prepared for a New York City band trip. The board also discussed adding AP World History and AP Government in coming years to expand social studies offerings.
