Women’s Institute Plans Highlight Quiet Meeting
Eighteen members of the Ospringe Institute attended the monthly Women’s Institute at Mrs. Arthur McKinney’s home. The roll call answered with a gowned girl idea as Doris Fines read correspondence. Social plans, quilts, radio forum, and area convention reports dominated the gathering, with fruit baskets praised for ill members and a decision not to seek the Institute grant. Social visits and local events filled the rest of the report with Thanksgiving and travel notes among members and friends.
