Capital Expenditure Approved Rebuild Switchgear in August
The HEPC approved an additional capital expenditure to rebuild the number one substation switchgear on Willow Street with Sweenes Electric Company handling major work in August. A mobile substation will be used during the rebuild while two heaters at the Cakeview Submission were found hooked up without notice and must be billed per rate changes. Beardmore meter issues prompted disclosures and penalties, with a plan to replace the meter for a normal demand reading and compare with the high reading from April. Maintenance orders include repainting light standards on Glenlen Suddin street and weed-cutting around number two substation, with accounts totaling 20 746.38 approved for payment.
