Fatal collision leaves two dead near Georgetown
In a crash on Fifth Line two drivers died and two others were hospitalized. Eric Wilson, 43, of 28 Henry Street Georgetown owned a 1960 Triumph convertible and died after being thrown from the car along with passenger James Terrence Sullivan, 17. John E Trumble, 22, of RoR Molton drove a southbound car that struck them, injuring his passenger William Thomas McLaughlan, 18. Trumble is at Georgetown District Hospital with facial injuries. McLaughlan is at Toronto General Hospital with severe facial lacerations and other injuries. Police note the intersection has east west markers but none for north south motorists. Both vehicles were declared total wrecks.
