Tacoma business men hosted seventy eight Tacoma boosters in Aberdeen on a Friday visit. The Hoquiam special train arrived at 6 p.m. and the Washington hotel banquet began at 7:45. Host and guest speakers included J B Bridges and E F Measinger with a long program of addresses. The train finally departed at 1 a.m. after an evening of mutual hospitality.

Hoquiam June 22 All logging companies operating dams on the rivers and creeks in Chehalis county must install fish ladders by August 1 per Game Warden Lobdell. Most streams are dammed, blocking salmon and trout from spawning. The Grays Harbor fishing industry has declined in the last two seasons due to stream blockages.
