Norman Matheson drowned in the Wishkah River about nine miles above Aberdeen around 2 am last Thursday. His cousin Donald Smith led a recovery party that found the body Friday morning near where he fell overboard. The remains were brought to Aberdeen, funeral held at Beardsley Bros. parlors, Fern Hill cemetery interment.
