Elderly Third St Men Save Boy From Drowning
In Zanesville two seniors on South Third street raced to aid two youths sinking in a canal at Third Street. Homer Barrer and Lou Mason both of 6734 South Third Street pulled Earl Conabee from the water after he sank about two minutes earlier and Mason gave artificial respiration. Henry Lee, 10, clutching the canal wall, was rescued by bystanders and taken to Bethesda Hospital. his condition was not publicly updated.
