Cattle Trader Held On Mann Act Charge
Henry C. Vandercock a 29 year old cattle trader was ordered turned over to federal officers and taken to Detroit for arraignment on a Mann Act violation. Doctors found no insanity. He reportedly persuaded Miss Lucille Wilson a 22 year old rural school teacher to accompany him on a trip through five states and Missouri to a summer job. She fought his advances during the 77 hour journey but was unharmed.
