Philadelphia boy charged after attempted strangulation
An 11 year old boy, Anthony Gleason, was arrested after he tried to strangle a girl in North Philadelphia, saying he heard of Becky Holt’s strangling and wanted to see what it was like. Capt. Bell called him a monster and said he had prior incidents. Gleason is held for psychiatric evaluation at Philadelphia General Hospital. Edward Cooney Jr., 15, a reportedly model student, confessed to strangling Holt and is also undergoing psychiatric exams.
