Former Zanesville Man Murdered On Christmas Day
A man formerly employed by Iron and Steel Co at Canton was found slain on Christmas Day in Zanesville. The victim, 59, is identified as W. Burgoon, with a deep knife wound to the throat. Local police say the body lay in the street near Market Street and funeral services are set for 2 o’clock Friday at the undertaking parlors, with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. He is survived by a widow and one daughter.
