Democratic Leader Walter H Kinder Dies at 77 in Findlay
Walter H. Kinder a longtime Democratic figure in Ohio died Sunday in Findlay after a cancer illness. He served as state superintendent for insurance from 1900 to 1893 and held two six year terms on the third district court of appeals from 1909 to 1921. He was appointed by Governor White in 1932 to an unexpired term and served as chief justice of the Ohio appellate court at one time. Born in Hamilton he studied law in 1870 and practiced thereafter. His father William Kinder was a probate judge of Butler County.
