A three year old colored girl walking along Route 2 near South Zanesville was hit by a Zanesville Roseville motor bus around 1 PM Monday. She sustained a fractured skull and multiple injuries and remained semi conscious. hospital staff feared she would not survive. The driver’s identity was not released.

Groff of New Lexingt on, a former resident of New Sira e, is in a dying condition after her automobile was struck by a New York Central train at a grade crossing in New Lexington last night.
