William A. Morison, 54, a Noble county fur buyer, was brought to Muskingum county jail for arraignment on a federal charge tied to the Senecaville National Bank holdup on December 2. Mrs. C. V. Covert of 1622 Euclid Avenue today recovers from armor bruises and lacerations after she fell through a second story window of her home Friday afternoon while washing the inside of the glass. She slipped on a small rug, plunged through the window shattering it, and fell about 15 feet to the ground landing on her feet before collapsing. She was cut by the glass during the fall.

Patrolmen Joe Watts and Harry Summers investigated.
Zanesville businessman Walter M. Ducker owner of the Zane hotel announced the purchase of the Owosso hotel in Owosso Michigan. The five story 104 room building with eight ground floor shops was built in 1950 for 400000 and bought for about 125000 through the Industrial Trust receiver. Ducker and his wife plus his mother plan to travel to Owosso Wednesday with a farewell party at the Zane hotel Tuesday night.
