The Tuesday Mite Circle held its annual Christmas party at Mrs W B Wallace home with president Mrs G C Stoneburner assisting. May Spencer read the Christmas story and carols were sung by all. Contests were run by Mrs D B Williams and Mrs N H Hawkins with prizes awarded. Officers elected: president May Spencer, vice president Rob Devitt, secretary WB Wallace, treasurer N H Hawkins. Luncheon followed. guests received gifts from the Secret Sisters with Mrs Stoneburner as Santa Claus. Out-of-town guests included Mrs William Mason and Mrs Martin Wagner of Waterford. Rowland funeral services for Mrs Enoch Rowland were held in Beverly. History Club notes: second History B-Club meeting at Mildred and Laura James’ home with discussions on the Underground Railroad in Morgan County and other historic incidents. Members listed. Various local notices recount visits, illnesses, and family events including pneumonia recovery, appendicitis operation, and community visits.
