A furnace fire at a Columbus rest home trapped eleven elderly residents last night, killing four and injuring several others. They died at University hospital from smoke suffocation while Mrs Bertha Kern director identified additional victims including Mrs Elizabeth Walcott 76 Mrs Alice Wirick 60 Mrs Ida Clayton and nurse Mrs Helen Wells who were overcome by smoke.
