Henry Roth confessed to detectives that he killed his wife with a hammer Sunday after she scolded him. Bloodstained hammer and bloody clothing were found at the Roth home as investigators questioned two reamers. Coroner D Y Rauser was called in. Roth, an unemployed carpenter, was arrested as observers were detained.
