Bristol Street Man Dies After Auto Crash
Lawrence Street 69 year old Bristol resident 1326 Bristol Street died after noon today from injuries suffered last Wednesday when he stepped into traffic on West Main near Osage. He fractured a left leg and sustained head lacerations as he walked from beside a parked car into the path of Glenn Haught age 23 of 1063 Pine Street. He was taken to Good Samaritan hospital and moved to Shields Rest Home. Body sent to Hearing Bryan DeLong funeral home.

Dallas B McGrath 62 night custodian at the YMCA was struck on the head when a fluorescent light fixture fell about 10 feet from the ceiling while he sat at the telephone switchboard in the office. He lives at 601 Carey street and was alone. He sustained scalp cuts and was taken to Bethesda hospital by taxicab. His condition was reported as good this afternoon.

Former Michigan Governor Sigler dies in plane crash
Former Michigan Governor Kim Sigler, 59, died when his four place plane struck a guy wire on a 50 foot television tower amid dense fog near Augusta in Kalamazoo County.
