Ottawa reports a cabinet meeting where an order in council was passed removing J Wesley Allison's name from the penene list. The action occurred at the Aug 12 session with officials confirming the change.
Farmers in the Rhein district who suffered hail losses have received cheques via the Canada National system. Local agent D. H. Welk enshawe arranged rapid payments and settlements for those affected.

Morris Siege of McNutt Farmers Supply Co faced a similar charge with prosecution by D C Kyle and defense by W B O Regan and Walton.
The camp, featuring delegates from Saltcoats Canora and Yorkton, closed last Thursday with a rain affected Sports Day on Wednesday. Aquatic events were canceled but many contests proceeded with keen but good natured rivalry. Canora Band provided music and many visitors attended despite wet weather. Scouts thanked their leaders and prizes were awarded to those advancing to higher classes.
