Ghastly discovery near Towle ranch ends in coroner’s inquiry
Near Towle ranch twenty four miles north of Wers ington, T Ghighliera found Joe Moffezini hanging from a tree limb. Coroner EA Dyer and a jury examined the scene and determined death by strangulation, unable to confirm self harm. Moffezini, about 23, had a Sweetwater Nevada Class A draft card and a watch found with the body. The mother and sister live in Cappe Italy.

Sentenced for forgery in Mason case
Keith Watson was sentenced in Lyon County District Court to 14 years in the penitentiary after pleading guilty to passing a forged check at Mason Mercantile Company signed with the name of George Martin. Watson and accomplice Smith were arrested last week. Smith was exonerated by Watson from any share in the crime.
