Water and sewer progress in Yerington moves forward
Tests on local wells reveal variations in yield with the Dillon well giving 45 gallons per minute while the Heinleben well proves superior. A proposed four-well system tapping distinct water strata, plus a 100000 gallon reservoir, would supply domestic and fire needs with backup pumps and a possible nine month inexhaustible supply if a favorable site on Mary Barton’s corner lot is secured for storage and park development.
