Trucks Drive Freight On Copper Belt Route to Aurora
The 3-ton Packard truck hauling from Madson along the Copper Belt road to Aurora has completed four trips and carries about sixty animals on the road. It delivers mill supplies to Aurora, then loads lumber at Bailie and returns to Aurora. On return to Tucison it comes back empty unless way freight is found. By July 1 two Alco trucks of 5 and 64 tons will join the fleet to boost hawk activity. Road wear is reduced by ongoing repairs as Hudson remains busy through summer and fall. The railroad company has contracted to deliver 12 tons daily for 155 days, mainly mill machinery for the new mill at Aurora.

Death of Miner Mike Fay at 56 after long illness
Mike Fay a miner aged 56 native of New Bedford Massachusetts died Wednesday night after a long illness from miners consumption. He worked in Colorado Montana and Nevada before settling near Butte. Survived by a mother in New Bedford several daughters and children in Butte and a relative in Arizona. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at Phipps parlors under Miners Union auspices with many friends at the grave.
