The 1912 State Mine Inspector Ryan report details safety recommendations across districts. Proposals include doors for tunnels, stopping distance requirements, controlled powder storage, improved ladderways, and posted warnings. Noted incidents: six minor accidents and one fatality at Mason Valley and nearby districts.
The firm Pardini & Co dissolves with Victor Perri assuming sole liability for all contracts and debts incurred by A Pardini from this date forward. Yerington Nevada January 23 1913.
Obituary records the death of Chas Meissner Jr at Sacramento after a liver and heart ailment. His father and relatives traveled to Sacramento. Meissner Sr and Mrs Chas Johnstone left for Nevada. Born September 28 186, he was 52, with roots in Primrose and Carson Valley. He was a rancher member of Foresters and Woodmen, survived by eight children and wife, funeral planned at the family ranch under lodges auspices.
The twenty sixth session opened in Carson with a heavily Democratic Senate and a varied Assembly. Members include Democrats, Republicans, a Socialist, and Independents across multiple districts in Nevada, with leadership roles assigned for committees such as Public Printing, Ways and Means, Judiciary, and Public Roads.
The Catholic Church ladies organize a bat and usual entertainment for St Patrick's Day March 17. JA Murphy of Pacific Hardware & Steel Co. visited Yerington on Thursday to discuss business in his field.
The Nevada Wonder copper chime claim six miles east of Yerintoy, owned by Murphy and Wisemgi, was sold last Saturday to Salt Lake investors Will and Frank Constantine. The cash deal, engineered by attorney Moore, aims at immediate development with leases already sought. The Constantines, long active in Mason Pass, plan to expand operations and capitalize on promising prospects in the district.
Splendid entertainment at Rink Hall last Monday drew over 400 attendees and near $200 in receipts. Professor Skovgaard impressed with masterful violin, encores, and refined tone, complemented by Miss McClung on piano and Miss May Wright’s singing. The performance marked the first high class music in Yerington, sparking hope for more.
Wm Tinney returns from Rochester. Mrs Nennedy and Leavitt Powers are sick. Youths enjoy coasting as the camp’s mills shut down due to freezing weather. Arthur Randall and Lawrence Powers go to Rochester camp. Tom Mayne returns from San Francisco and plans to enliven the town. Last Friday a Dayton stage faced a snow drift making Virginia City travel impossible.
Andy West and bride arrived home Monday afternoon from Reno after a brief California trip. They planned a short visit but were too busy to depart. A crowd gathered for a serenade that evening, but Andy bought a barrel of beer to calm the party. The couple will stay with Mrs Annie West temporarily, then build a home on West street.

Genial Jack Welsh former superintendent of the Mason Valley mine and credited with developing a producing mine visited Yerington this week from Gardnerville. He praised the district as one of the best mining regions and foretold a great future, expressing his enduring affection and hosting friends who welcomed him warmly.
