Sheepman Dies in Smith Valley Camp Near Wellington
Augustus Echeto, a 21 year old sheepherder for R. C. Terry, died Tuesday night at a sheep camp near Wellington Springs in Smith Valley. An inquest by Coron Pierce found death from natural causes. The body was sent to Reno for interment. cousins attended him, and two brothers Frank and Joe will accompany the remains. He was a native of Spain and had lived in Nevada one year. Judge Gibson of Tudwig was a visitor.

Great West Land Company buys 6000 acres in Wabuska
The Great West Land Company of Salt Lake City closed a deal with J P Perazzo of Wabuska to take title to 6000 acres for about 120000 dollars. Death of Jim Woodbury Prominent Nevada figure dies
James P. Woodbury aged 83 died Monday at four from lobar pneumonia after illness since Friday. A pioneer of Nevada’s Comstock era, he arrived in 1862 from Massachusetts, helped run multiple mines, served as Ormsby County commissioner in 1892 and state senator, and was a Mason. Surviving relatives include Woodbury family members in Reno Carson City and San Francisco.
