The Hub saloon on Main street in Yerington was nearly destroyed by fire in the early hours Friday. Fire Chief Kelly and two hose lines contained the blaze within minutes, saving adjoining, highly flammable buildings. The restaurant and saloon furnishings were a total loss. barber shop fixtures survived and were moved to a nearby building. Loss estimated at 600 dollars with no insurance.
