Small Fire Creates Great Excitement in City Alley
A Sunday morning blaze in the rear of Harding & Company store was quickly spotted by passersby guiding fire crews to a rear cellar. Firemen battled smoke and smoldering sawdust with chemical extinguishers, preventing a near catastrophe near barrels of turpentine and oils. An accidental team crash at Clem Franks barber shop shattered glass and injured two horses, but no people. Dr Derr was rushed to treat the grey stallion, while owner Franks plans to stay closer to home after the incident.

Plow accident injures N F Albright in California
Mrs. Elizabeth Wagner learned her brother N F Albright formerly of Wooster now in Pasadena Cal was seriously injured when a beam on a plow toppled and the team whipped the gear as the plow rolled over. He suffered a broken right shoulder blade collar bone two ribs and crush injuries to the right side with no internal injuries. Physicians expect recovery.

Italian worker falls after bicycle collision on West Liberty
Rafelo Zaca, 21, an Italian brick works employee, sped along West Liberty street Monday evening and collided with a horse-drawn carriage driven by Charles Rickabaugh. Zaca was thrown under the horses and a wheel passed over his right shoulder before helpers freed him. He was taken to Knestrick Sanatorium for care. no bones were broken. In the carriage were Robert Barnett, a child, and a nurse, all uninjured.
