Leo Deibel confessed murderer of Minnie Berndt his sweetheart. He was sentenced Saturday noon to life imprisonment in the penitentiary by Judge Wanamaker. Brought into court at Kowlock he pled guilty to a charge of murder in the second degree. The boy, who is about seventeen years old, remained calm throughout.
Obituaries report the deaths of Ro Hend aged 75 of Reedaorg after months of ill health, Oliver Bertheimer about 47 of New Pittburg after a period of sickness, and Mrs. Mary Antihan of Mansfeld who died at home. Nes J Stewart Wallace’s funeral drew large crowds from Guited Presbyterian Shareb. Rev W A Littell presided, pallbearers named, and burial at Wooster cemetery. Malinda Wise 49 of Daltcreet Township died of nervous exhaustion in Marsillon hospital. Thomas J Fitger died in Akrom hospital, body moved to Swithville, service at Luther Falton, burial in New cemetery. Thomas Fitgor, 86, described as genial and helpful, died after asthma. survived by three brothers and a sister Mrs Sophia Kellamer of Smithville.
Ora N. Mowery as administrator of Nathaniel Mowery sues Michael E. Mowery and Bankers Surety Co. of Cleveland in the court of common pleas seeking 855.86 due to Nathaniel Mowery heirs from Thomas N. Mowery estate. Bankers Surety Co. joins as bonder. James B. Taylor represents the plaintiff.

W. H. Shoup died at home after a brief illness, aged 45, at his residence near Bont arant. He was not confined to bed until the last week, suffered a neural ailment, and had been a longtime resident of Chester county. Survived by five brothers and three sisters, he was born in Chester township and spent all his days in the county, respected by neighbors and friends.
