Fire damages hearse house and barn at local funeral parlor
A Wednesday blaze at Undertaker George Fresh’s property damaged the roof of the hearse house and an outbuilding. Firefighters and neighbors kept the fire under control with chemical extinguishers. Loss is estimated at 200 dollars to the hearse house and 1200 dollars for the outbuildings, with substantial insurance on the latter.
