Brass Works Burned in Ohio, May 24 Fire

The Ohio Brass Worker Manafistol industry plant was destroyed by fire this morning May 24. Rev J W Johnson conducted his first ordinance meeting at Overton Bethe on May 7 aided by Rev T Lemunyon of Greenabury, leading to a grand meeting. He held ordinance meetings May 18 and 14 at Kill back Bethel assisted by Rev Van Swering of Shiloh on May 20 and 31 at Smithville with Rev W F Fuller of Fos­toria and Cedar Valley brethren aiding the effort.

Obituary notices for William Linn and George Wilcox

The funeral for William Linn will be from his residence on Avenue at 2 p m Wednesday with interment in Wooster cemetery. A native of Cheater county Pa he came to Ohio in 1844 and resided in Wayne county since. Linn was long respected and in Rising Star Lodge Knights of Pythias, not a soldier though briefly in Pennsylvania militia. The remains of George Wilcox who died in Cleveland Sunday arrived in the city at 14 15 Tuesday and funeral was held at 1230 on arrival from Cleveland via electric line. Bearers named and Rev Knapp led grave services. Rev E DuBois received word of the death of G W Kessler of Altoona Pa a prominent citizen and father to Rev DuBois.
