An inspection team from the department of the north will visit the Northern Ohio company in Wooster Saturday evening to inspect operations under the new congressionally passed law. Many from the country are afraid to go to that city and are coming to Dalton to trade. The Women’s Presbyterial Missionary convention of the UP church will meet in this place June 11 and 12. A large number of delegates will be present. Lt. Myers, the insurance man of Wooster, was in town Tuesday on business. Democratic candidates are seen on streets daily. Barton has candidates: Edward Wertz for representative and I B Douglas for commissioner. Give the children Rocky Mountain Tea this month, makes them strong, makes them eat, sleep and grow. Exciting Runaway Involving Farmer's Wife and Wagon
A farmer west of the city and Mrs. Robinson of east of the city had a thrilling runaway after a ride invitation. Horses spooked near the depot at the tracks, dashed along the tracks past a morning passenger train, up an embankment, and onto a narrow alley before splitting from the buggy and ending at Liberty Street near the Nation house. Killed by assassin in feud tied to Kentucky election case
