Washington reports that New P.M. WB Bryson will succeed Mrs Flattery as post master of Wooster H to begin when the present term ends. The notification arrived from officials in Washington today.
Samantha Smedley widow of Samuel Smedley died at home 164 East North Street after two years’ illness diabetes. Funeral 9 a.m. Wednesday Mt Eaton interment. She was daughter of Peter Franks pioneer resident, lifelong county resident, lived in Wooster last year from Yakcreek township. She joined Methodist church since childhood. Sapre Vinpson, son of C M Simpagn, tenant on A DesVorgnes farm northeast of Orrville, died of typhoid pneumonia at Allegheny General Hospital Saturday April 28 1906. He was 10 to 20 years old, a fireman on the Pennsylvania railroad. Remains taken to Orrville home of his parents. Funeral 9:30 Tuesday forenoon.

Jobo Fonk born December 22 1825 in Mount Pleasant Westmoreland Pa was one of 18 children. He moved with parents to Wayne County Ohio later living near Smithville and Cheater Township after marriage. He united with church as a youth and remained devoted. died April 28 1906 at age 80 years 4 months 6 days with funeral May 1 at Bethel church Wooster cemetery. Surviving siblings include Rey A Kiefer Crestline Ea Fonk Shreve Roy Kinmang Melina and others.
