Orrville Fire Destroys Barn On Suavaly Farm
Late Saturday night Orrville faced a major blaze at the Joseph Suavaly farm barn on a north end property owned by Isaac Pontius. The 40 by 70 foot frame structure and wagon shed burned, along with a horse, harness, cart, and hay. The Pontius barning sparked house damage to the Stebbins residence, while residents were awakened by neighbors as the alarm spread slowly, and train engineers signaled with whistles before bells rang.
