Vernon Ohio June 19 50 Democrats in the Seventeenth Twenty second senatorial district convened for about twenty minutes. Will Harper was nominated by acclamation after the death of his father ex Senator Lecky Harper. Delegates were brought in from Knox Wayne Morrow and Holmes counties by the B and O railroad. A resolution honoring the late Lecky Harper was ordered included in the official report.
