A lightning strike during a June storm melted a ten inch ball on the church conductor to two inches. A storm on Saturday followed by heavy wind rap and thunder. Miss Maud McCay attended Wilmington commencement. Emma Hobinson visited friends here. Wooster commencement drew many locals.

Heavy Rain Floods Hit Town Then Cleared Quickly
Last week Tuesday evening the area saw the heaviest rainfall in years with a small flood that flooded fields and turned highways into rivers.
