Horse fright causes tumble injuring elderly couple near Orrville
In June 21 report from Wooster, John Lefévré and wife, aged and respected Orr townsfolk, rode home after visiting south of the city. Their horse, spooked by a bull, backed and fell, nearly drowning them. Local youths helped, they escaped serious harm and moved on after fresh clothing and a Buggy change. Another accident near town left Henry Forrer with a severe leg fracture when his horse stumbled and fell. Forrer received careful care and was improving.
