Ceremony by Rev Balmer of Apple creek M E Church. A few friends and relatives attended. the couple will establish housekeeping in the city.

Teachers and graduating class of the High School were royally entertained Thursday night by Professor and Mrs Huupert on College Avenue. Despite stormy weather nearly every member attended. The event featured games music and social pleasures with selections by the High School Mandolin Club. When leaving the lights were out but students said they could still go home without a light.

Simon Christine aged 83 a resident of South Kever street died Thursday morning after paralysis at his son s home in Waynesbury Stark county He was father of James Christine and grandfather of Jim Christine Wooster Dick Christine Shreve and Jacob Leas Osnaburg He also left two daughters Mrs J N Kinney and Mrs J S Bigsell Funeral is set for Saturday morning in Stark county and a second funeral Friday afternoon for another relative who died Wednesday of paralysis.

The club, with 20 members, held its first excursion to Brown's Lake near Shreve and plans an afternoon excursion June 16 and an all day trip to Fox Lake on July 4.

S L Milligan of Mansfield pressed council for a new telephone franchise in Wooster. The council committee delayed, then accepted a $100 yearly stand by the Millersburg Wooster and Orrville Co to fund the treasury until a rival is chosen. Milligan claims 200 subscribers will prompt a legal franchise and plans an up to date plant, while asserting backing from the Central Union or Bell interests and targeting United States Telephone Company for toll business. He reports early subscribers and says probate court action may be pursued for the franchise.
The Am. and P. Tea Company is now under the management of T. M. Miller previously of Butler Ohio. Miller is described as accommodating and enterprising and is expected to bring success to the firm.
As the Wooster City Band played at 1 30, Rev J F Smith in Probate Judge Adair s office performed the ceremony to unite J H Baker and Dave Miller of Burbank as husband and wife in a small square ceremony.
Benjamin Jones, a miner at the Minglewood mine in North Lawrence, was struck in the right eye by a pick. He was brought to Wooster in the evening and examined by Dr H A Hart, who found the eye so badly injured that sight would be destroyed. Jones previously lost his left eye years ago.
