Mrs Clara Fiscus of Dalton through attorney M C Roach files for alimony from John M Fiscus formerly of Dalton. Married in Wooster in 1880 with three children aged 12 10 and 4 she says he abandoned her for over a year and owns real estate in Dalton and coal lands in Pennsylvania now encumbered or disposed of. She asks the court to grant alimony and restrain him from selling or encumbering the property with such other relief as proper.
The Wooster Ohio area presses for a two daily passenger trains service from Millersburg through Wooster to Akron and Cleveland. Citizens from Millersburg to Akron urge coordinated schedules with an early morning through train and an evening return, plus a freight/local shuttle. Local railroad leaders acknowledge plans but note decisions rest with higher authorities and need regional unity.
A historical ad announces Hall's Catarrh Cure offering a one hundred dollar reward for incurable catarrh. Miss Fern Kieffer of Wooster earns magna cum laude in Wooster University's twenty fifth commencement. The program includes baccalaureate and address by President Scovel, religious services, and various departmental ceremonies. Faculty notes and campus events surround the celebration, with alumni and local figures in attendance.
Charles Bronson of Chester township faced multiple charges after a Sunday morning altercation in which he allegedly attacked Jacob Fuolini and others while intoxicated. Witness Squire Ropp reported the disturbance. Bronson pleaded guilty to intoxication before Mayor Jeffries and was fined.
The Committee of General Arrangements met in Wooster to review Jubilee Day plans. Leaders reported progress on decorations, transportation, parades, fireworks, and crowd control, with emphasis on cooperative participation from merchants, nearby towns, and county officials.

June events include Ferrigan to Paris Lane, Mourning run from 4 8 a m, and multiple evening and morning rides to towns such as Highland Park Ashland Maize Mill Shreve and nearby lakes with additional rides to Creston Orrville Lodi and Medicine Lake.
