On South Market street Charles Cummings prepared to move an organ when Martin Drennen helped. Miss Maud Cummings found a purse missing containing 1.24 dollars. A sneak thief robbed Mrs. Bartel on North Market Street yesterday afternoon around four. Her purse and Miss Seura McArthur’s purse were found in the hallway after an upstairs search, jewelry and Mr. White’s gold watch missing. Authorities suspect a professional thief targeting money, with pockets skinned and no jewelry taken.
