The Wooster Shale Brick and Clay Co faces rumored bankruptcy despite signs of reorganization. Judge J T Maxwall Gh Tuesday morning issued a decision in a city property case. The heirs of Mrs Sarah Babb challenging an earlier sale to the city were involved as the city occupied the site since 1887 under adverse possession. The judge found that Jacob Youse knew of and approved the sale and thus his heirs were barred from claiming any interest. The will of Sarah Babb, dated 1868, allocated life interests to Esther Babb, Barbara Babb, Samugy Babb and John Babb with property to be divided thereafter, but titles would revert to the city. Arguments about possession and control were unresolved, and appeal rights were noted. The rest of the text lists a patent cold remedy advertisement.
