A man identified as James Rolland or James H Arnold exploited college funds, cashing checks after arranging tuition and leaving a trail of borrowed money. He was pursued by Wabash College President Kane and arrested in Crawfordsville, Ind. Authorities found calling cards and a death-notice envelope.
