Lincoln Birthday Celebration Honors Lincoln in Wooster

A large crowd gathered Monday evening at Grand Army hall Wooster for Lincoln birthday observances under the Grand Army of the Republic and Women's Relief Corps. A banquet featured roast turkey and assorted dishes, followed by an address by Ben Douglas who extolled Lincoln’s leadership and multifaceted character.

New Church Dedication Marks Week of Services

Weeklong dedication of the Shreve Methodist church opens with pomp on Sunday. An extensive program features Fifty offerings and a biog the San Sitereating program. Elder M Reyes will conduct the service with speakers from Loudon, Santins, Monsfeld, Burbank, Canalville, and Wooster. Feb 28 adds to the schedule with Sunday School and other activities.
