The report summarizes House and Senate actions on bounties for early war enlistments, habeas corpus limits, Confederate States questions, and appointments. It notes votes on resolutions, admission of Tennessee members, and measures related to pensions, clergies, and the appointment of committees. In Bremen a forest edge held a poor family with seven idle sons. Mocked for laziness, they finally choose work, prove themselves, and prosper, sending money home.
