Dalton Wayne county Ohio Nov 28 The McElhinney family endures losses as Tommy Kidd 14 died after diphtheria while in their care and Elbinney boy died Sept 27 the family plans sending Tommy to the Soldiers and Sailors Orphans School. Mrs McElhinney lauded as educated and active Sunday school teacher. The Grand Jury declined to indict Cox per her wish.

The 24 year old son of Prof Knight dies after a fatal Erie Railroad accident near Brace Me 20 miles east of Wooster. Brakeman fell between cars or was crushed by a broken chain. He signaled the engineer and survived until 9 05 p m after being brought to Meadville Pa. He left a wife and infant daughter. Funeral held at Wooster home with Rev A Scott of West Salem.
James Dreenan of South Bever street, represented by J E Snyder, sues James Hick the saloon keeper for 3100 damages under a law protecting parents or employers from sales to dependents. He alleges his son Martin Dreenan was supported by him and despite being listed in the 1891 black book, was sold intoxicants while intoxicated at Rich's place on Nov 20 and 21. The case proceeds before squire C Sweeney.
