Prost Charged With Murder Of Wife Near Funky
George W Prost a former Wayne county resident living near Funky is jailed in Medina on murder charges for killing his wife Kate Lewis Prost 20 near Wooster. The couple had moved to Wadsworth and endured bitter quarrels. A heavy revolver wound left Kate dying after Prost allegedly admitted to finishing her. She is buried at Yankeetown cemetery near Funk. Prost 32 years old has two young children and a sister Mrs Gallagher survives.
