Ely's Dream Balm is advertised as rapidly absorbed and providing relief, cleansing and soothing the diseased area while protecting the skin. The liquid form costs 75 cents, or 59 cents as a special offer, with Ely Brothers listed at 50 Warren Street, New York, for mail orders and druggists stock.
For six years the water permit process caused trouble as each water superintendent used a personal system. The public service board and James Fisher implement a uniform permit and record system with a printed book and data patch. From April, taps require a paid permit before work begins.
