Sattler issues a complete report showing $336,283.74 turned over to the School Board Township and a collected total of $465,847.73 with expenditures of $431,241.65 for 1933.
Committeeman Robert L. Sattler presented a year to date financial report at the Memorial Municipal building showing cash receipts of 402,882.37 and total expenditures of 431,241.65 including 67,360.00 in bonds. The report lists transfers to the School Board of 836,283.74 with 42,126.00 in bonds, and details on interest on bonds, notes, and appropriations, plus a total paid in bonds of 373,881.65 and receipts for 1933 school appropriations and balances year end. A separate note confirms the selection of Mr. Graugam as chairman of the First Ward by county committeemen and committeewomen, highlighting his Democratic activity and reputation.

A renowned two night charity event at the State theatre in Woodbridge Township drew large crowds. Proceeds support the annual picnic at the Palisades and included the film Mr Robinson Crusoe starring Douglas Fairbanks and William Farnum plus a vaudeville lineup.
Rev. Earl He Devating of the Convenint Presbyterian church in Buffalo New York has accepted the call from First Presbyterian church of Wood bridge to lead their pastorate. He will begin his work here on September 1.
A meeting of the Woodbridge Merchants' association will be held Wednesday evening June 21 at the Memorial Municipal building. All members are urged to attend as important business will be discussed.
Eighth grade commencement and related events at Woodbridge Township schools are scheduled for Tuesday afternoon June 20. School No 11 at the high school auditorium at 1 30 P M and Ford School No 7 at 2 30 P M feature orchestra addresses class songs and diplomas. The program includes selections by the School No 11 orchestra and chorus with names such as Dorothy Belevre Long Lorelei Carol Gardner Edwin McNichal and Roy Anderson. An all grade party and dance for 350 No 11 pupils follows with a committee led by Dominick Aquila Anna Bieglecki Carol Gardner Janet Howell John Kreger Millicent MacGarrah Rose Manka Bette Saywell Helen Senft and Barron Wilson. The eighth grade orchestra provides music for dancing and entertainment with acts by Paul Jones Laleille Krebs Gladys Madden Anne Phillips Marion Leonard Margaret Solomon Pabiika Reddick and Helen Loeusen among others.
Barbara Zurawski of 219 Cleveland Avenue Harrison was slightly injured when struck by a car driven by Pantie Bodnarczuk of 186th Street Jersey City as he backed up in the private driveway of the New Jersey Reformatory.
James J. Dunne of Green Street Woodbridge has been appointed acting postmaster at the Woodbridge Post Office replacing Stanley C. Potter. Potter’s term ends December 13 1932 after six months over term. Dunne, born March 3 1884 in Brooklyn, married Florence Dunigan and has four children. He has long fraternal ties and leadership roles including Knights of Columbus Lions Club and Coal Dealers association.
Philip Fischer of Fords aged 61 a janitor at School No 14 died early today at Perth Amboy General Hospital after a brief illness. Survived by wife Mary three daughters Alice Kentos Metuchen Marguerite Manton and Mabel Hunt Lords six sons Leonard Harold John Elmer Wilbur and Fred Lords seven grandchildren and three sisters Mrs Mary Mundy Mrs Margaret Badum Perth Amboy and Mrs Catherine Kowen Old Bridge and brother William Perth Amboy.
The Woodbridge Post American Legion will sponsor a three ring circus at Grove Street Ball Park next Wednesday night. Circuses acts include acro bats clowns bareback riders and a side show with the fat lady. Proceeds benefit the Legion Benevolent Fund.
The annie Pacealaureate services for Woodbridge High School graduates will be held Sunday evening at the Methodist Episcopal church led by Rev. CG de Meliberg. The procession from the high school will move to the church for a program including processional hymns prayers, an address by George Gordon, anthem, scripture, sermon, and benediction.
The deceased belonged to George B. McClellan Lodge 81 Porester8 of America Lawrence Lodge of Oddfellows Ex empt Wiremen's Association of Fords and was active with Word Fire Company No 1. Funeral Monday at 2 30 pm at the house with Rev Harold Dunne of St. Luke's Episcopal Metuchen officiating. Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery.

Bene Township Treasurer Michael J Trainer redeemed the Baby Bonds issued by Woodbridge Township. The issue valued at 57,000 had several thousand collected in tax payments, leaving 21,000 outstanding. Bonds, issued to pay township employees and teachers, were due yesterday and redeemed in full at the treasurer’s office.
Stephen Somogyl state director of Lions clubs inducted the elected Woodbridge Lions Club officers at Gray Log Cabin. Officers include President Henry Hangon and others. Berry addresses school finances and teacher contracts amid concerns for students' welfare.
Joseph Baran aged 63 from Dunbar avenue Words is reported missing from Itehente where he lived with John Braguchzy. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt blue trousers black shoes and a slouch hat and stood about five feet three inches tall.
Twenty one students received diplomas at St James parochial school's commencement held in St James auditorium. Father Larkins of Our Lady of Peace Church spoke. Awards included Mayor Ryan medal for excellence and medals for religion and overall achievement.
