The truck driver Benjamin Straight of Rimwood avenue Woodbridge operated a vehicle owned by Union Garage Co Perth Amboy and transported the boy to medical aid.
Judge B. W. Vogel sentenced a man to the workhouse for beating his wife and several children. In court the wife and one child appeared, stating the husband owed money for a dentist. With no funds, the judge arranged for a dentist and sent the man to pay the bill.
