Grade Crossing Hearing Postponed Until January 29

The hearing before the Public Utility Commissioner was postponed to January 29. Pennsylvan ia Railroad plans for an underpass at Colonial Boulevard and a revised Iselin project will be presented by Assistant Engineer John M. Nicholson. Port Reading Boy Struck by Truck In Roosevelt Avenue

Nicholas D Alessio aged 12 of Port Reading was struck by a truck on Roosevelt avenue near Edwin street Saturday night. He suffered a fractured left arm and extensive bruises and lacerations and was taken to Rahway Memorial Hospital by Dr Samuel Measinger. The truck driver Benjamin Straight of Rimwood avenue Woodbridge operated a vehicle owned by Union Garage Co Perth Amboy and transported the boy to medical aid.
