Winthrop Monuments Dedication Honors Civil War Veterans
At the Winthrop dedication May 30 1907 residents recall the town during the Civil War era. The Frost library building memorializes Merrill Frost and his widow while detailing wartime population, taxes, schools, and local landmarks. Prominent residents Bartlett Belcher and Bryant are named among those who served.
