Suffolk County apportionment law struck down by court
The Supreme Judicial Court declared Chapter 109 of the Resolves of 1910 as amended by 1911 una constitution al, unconstitutional for delegating legislative power to the courts. Boston had sought a three member commission to apportion Suffolk County finances, but ruling emphasizes separation of powers and confirms the petition is dismissed.
