Open Race Delightfully Crowds Winthrop Yacht Club

A large Winthrop crowd watched 150 sail off the starting line for the Winthrop Yacht Club open race. Classes awarded included Interclub A Atalanta B Sintram Violet S Wavenock and more with close finishes and a strong breeze throughout the course. Prayers followed for Edward B Gross, Harvard-educated physician-in-progress, who died after a long illness.
